The Kerchanshe Group is a long-standing coffee producer and exporter in Ethiopia.
Buna Pen aims to raise the profile of Ethiopian manufacturers, provide employment, and reinvest profits into social programs.
The factory started operations in July 2019 with an initial capacity of 17.5 million pens per year and expanded to 67.5 million pens annually; Buna Pen is now available throughout Ethiopia.
