RESCO originated in 1961 as an engineering department of Paul Ries & Sons (Ethiopia) Ltd and became an independent company in 1965.
It represents Hyundai, AGCO (Massey Ferguson and Challenger), FORD, DRESSTA, and AMMANN, and expanded in 2010 to become a major Ford automotive player in Ethiopia with import and distribution of Ford vehicles and a Ford service workshop.
